Looking for your car fix but still in lockdown? Not a problem! If you can’t get out to the cars, I’ll bring them to you. The British Are Coming!—The Fabulous ’50s is my second virtual gallery and features expanded descriptions as well as the ability to link out to purchase an image. The focus is solely on British sports cars from the 1950s including Jaguar, Triumph, MG, Austin-Healey and other marques. Fan of ’60s or ’70s British sports cars? Not to worry, I’m working on two more galleries that will feature some of your favorite British sports cars from both eras.

The British Are Coming! gallery lets you take a guided tour or you can choose to just wander the gallery on your own. There’s even a nice soft jazz music track that you can opt to play for a little background music. I’ve also included a list of art included in the exhibit so you can go directly to a particular piece. The on-screen menu is available any time you need it by just clicking on the icon.

I’m working on an augmented reality feature that, when ready, will give you the ability to see what a particular piece of artwork looks like on your wall. A kind of “try it before you buy it” function. It’s not quite ready for prime time but once out of the beta stage it will be an easy three-step process to download and view art. Stay tuned for the AR experience to be up and running soon.
