The Austin-Healey 100S was and remains one of the most important cars in the development of Brisith sports cars. Built primarily for racing, the aluminum bodied 100S made 132BHP from it’s Weslake head equipped 4-cylinder engine and featured, 4-wheel disc brakes, the first production to do so. To save weight, no overdrive was fitted and the original folding windscreen was replaced with a fixed mounted plastic version. In all, only 50 cars were built, mostly in the Old English White and Lobelia Blue combination shown here.
