Green #3—Lotus Elite Type 14

Competition Colors started out as an experiment with monochromatic backgrounds and I liked the look so much I thought I’d explore the idea with a few other cars. It didn’t take long for a theme to evolve—the colors associated with some of the most important competition cars from the 50s and 60s.

Green #3, illustrates Colin Chapman’s 1959 Lotus Elite that won its class at LeMans joining five other Elites that also won their class at the world’s greatest endurance race every year they were entered.
