I recently had the fun of being interviewed by Mark Greene from Cars Yeah! who, with considerable skill and finesse, managed to make me sound reasonably coherent. We talked cars, we talked art, cars and art, as well as other stuff. This is your big chance to know more about me than you might want to know. http://carsyeah.com/ourportfolio/956-david-townsend/
Here’s a quick re-cap of a few of the highlights.
INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE
Talent is not a gift, it’s a responsibility. You have to grow it, nurture it and pass it on.
CAREER & LIFE CHALLENGES
I was in an accident at a racing event and shattered my leg. The recovery one of the hardest things that ever happened to me, but it was probably also one of the best things that ever happened to me. I worked harder than I ever thought I could. Rehabbed and went back racing and gave myself the chance to walk away from racing on my own terms. Knowing when to stop is one of the greatest lessons in life.
