A little experimentation now and again is a good thing. This illustration is based on some photographs I took of a sports racer that was in the B-paddock at Lime Rock Park somewhere around 2015 and before the paddock was completely paved as it is today. I must have shot 40 or 50 cars that weekend but the body reflecting the sky, clouds, and surroundings on this little number really stood out to me. I didn’t identify the car when I shot it so have no idea what it was other than ti was kind of Scarab looking. 22″ x 16″ prints are available now. The original print on canvas, sized 44″ x 36″, is destined for the Art House Collective exhibition at the Warehouse during Arizona Car Week in January.
