All good things must come to and end and, after more than a dozen years on the road, 2025 will mark my last regular tour. It’s been a blast. So many new friends, so many cool cars, I don’t think I would change a thing about the experience (well maybe the rain and/or heat at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix), but things are catching up to me. My 75th birthday is coming in April and time and tide wait for no man. Despite the knee replacement, the bones are getting a little creaky, the muscles a little more sore, and I swear the booth parts are getting heavier (though I know they’re not). I’m going to continue to illustrate, continue to sell art, and may do an occasional event from time to time but my days of being on the road from early March to the end of September are most definitely behind me. There will be more time spent with my 6 grandkids—hockey games, ballet, lacrosse, soccer, gymnastics and whatever else they get into. There’ll also be more time to enjoy my cars which have languished these many years while I chased another muse. Here’s what my 2025 touring schedule currently looks like:
- Amelia Concours—March 6-9, Amelia Island, Florida—first public showing of Rosso!
- Greenwich Concours—May 31-June 1, Roger Sherman Baldwin State Park, Greenwich, Connecticut
- *Velocity International—June 6-8, Sonoma, California
- Show of Dreams—July 26, Hudson, New Hampshire
- Historic Festival #43—August 29-September 1, Lime Rock Park, Lime Rock Connecticut
- *Hilton Head Concours—October 31, November 2, Hilton Head, North Carolina
*Subject to change
