Jaguar MK 2 Saloon
Produced from 1959 through 1968 (counting the 240 and 340 derivatives), the Jaguar MK 2 saloon became the marque’s entry into the mid-sized luxury and executive car market. Initially equipped with a 120BHP 2.4 litre engine, the sports saloon was also fitted with the 3.4 litre and later 3.8 litre versions of the XK motor that produced 210 BHP and 220 BHP respectively, enough power to allow the saloon to reach near 100mph. A Daimler version was fitted out with 2.5 litre V8 engine making 142BHP.
