Austin-Healey—Earls Court

One of two 100Ms especially prepared to introduce the new model at the 1955 Earls Court motor show, this version in its black over pink livery is, perhaps, the more striking of the two. In addition to louvered bonnet and strap found on all of the 100m cars, this finely turned out example included a wood rimmed steering wheel and unique upswept paint line at the rear. An already striking car in any color combination, this black over pink version with its “dusty rose” upholstery must have caused quite a stir when it was shown.
