I offer engine and gearbox prints for most of the cars I draw. Sizes vary but, in the main the longitudinally oriented combinations are printed in a 12″ high x 24″ wide format and the vertically oriented combinations like the Porsche and Austin engines are 18″ high x 12″ wide. All engine and gearbox illustrations are printed on acid-free, archival quality paper using naturally pigmented inks for rich, deep color.

$279.00Porsche Type 547 “Fuhrmann” Engine – Designed by Ernst Fuhrmann for the 550 model as well as a performance option for the 356 models, Fuhrmann’s complex design began with the basic flat four and then added dual overhead cams driven by beveled gears, coupled with dual distributors and two spark plugs per cylinder. The original motor produced a reliable 110 horsepower turning at 7,800 RPMS with later models cranking out up to 135 horsepower at a rather sedate 7,200 RPMs.
