Rosso!

One Christmas, many years ago, my brother and I were gifted a Strombecker 1/32nd scale slot car track set. It wasn’t much by today’s standards but, back then, it provided hours of enjoyment…and competition. The set came with two cars—a blue Jaguar D-Type and a red Ferrari 250TR. Maybe it was the track, the car, or the driver but the Ferrari always seemed the faster of the two cars and was frequently the source of sibling squabbles as to who would get to drive it. Drawing “Rosso” transported me back to those bygone days and a new found appreciation for, what can only be called, the voluptuous lines of the Testarossa.

There will only be 5 fine art prints of Rosso! using naturally pigmented inks on archival paper. Each arrives ready to display beautifully framed in natural maple (shown), pewter or black extruded aluminum with black over red double mats, museum grade non-glare acrylic, with dust backer and hanging hardware installed. Each print is signed and numbered, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. 

Print dimensions are 20″ x 20″ and the framed dimensions are 32″ x 36″. The first public showing of Rosso! will be at the 2025 Amelia Concours, March 6th-9th indoors at the Ritz-Carlton.
