Lotus Elite Type 14

A quite remarkable 6-time LeMans class champion from 1958-1962, the Lotus Elite Type 14 featured highly innovative fiberglass monocoque construction with a steel subframe to support the engine. The result was an incredibly light and strong unit that, when combined with very low drag coefficient, allowed the Type a4 to achieve sports car performance from just 75bhp—all of this accomplished without the benefit of computer aided design.

The limited edition Lotus Elite fine art pigment print is available on archival paper in two sizes—22″ x 16″ or 30″ x 20″ with framing available for the 22″ x 16″ in either wood or metal by special order.
