Austin-Healey SPL227

In 1953 Donald Healey wanted to promote his new sports car and it was decided a great way to make a splash would be to break the speed and endurance records for production cars. The team from Warwick spent a goodly amount of time developing a streamlined version of what would eventually become the 100S and the basis for all of the Big Healeys to follow. The Bonneville series is not available with any equipment or color options, illustrated as all of the “specials” were in the famous green favored by Warwick for the endurance cars.
